The 23-year-old Wat Srariang Buddhist Secondary School, built by Dr. Sangkom Chaechuoen, in the town of Thailand's southern Nakhon Si Thammarat has been working hardly on creating all great novices by providing them a good education since its school began.
The school has more than 20,000 ex-students who have been working in various fields both inside and outside the Thai country. That is the fruitful result of efforts and contributions that the school has made for 23 years.
In fact, the school has continued holding activities for alumni on April 15 every year so far, but informal unlike this year. This year, the school, which is situated inside the temple, held reunion activities for alumni, wisely initiated by the school directer and a group of Wat Srariang Buddhist Secondary School alumni, to bring harmony, happiness and joy to the school, including asking for the blessings in traditionally celebration of the Thai Songkran festival on April 15.
The highlights of the event yesterday at Srariang temple were a joint merit-making ceremony, a meeting for setting a plan for next year's 2nd reunion activities and pouring water over the palms of Phra Kruphummaketkanarak, Srariang Buddhist school founder Dr. Sangkom Chaechuoen and elder people.
